Time of Reflection: Celebrating Reading Between the Lines
On Thursday, December 19th at the Impact House downtown Chicago, we successfully convened a wonderful audience of friends, colleagues from other Justice Reform organizations, volunteers, Foundation supporters, Sponsors, and other supporters of RBL. As we closed a year of program sessions and celebrated our victories, like expansion at CCDOC and the increase of individuals we are working with We also heard from our speakers Marquis Miller, Board of Directors, Vice-Chair and Verda Bhatti, Volunteer and supporter of RBL, on the importance of Programs like ours in the carceral system. Our Executive Director. Augie Torres relayed a message of how he took advantage of programs during the time he served in prison. Augie is a genuine example of Programs made available to all and continue their support in their Re-entry process. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and a special thanks to our Sponsors.
